Converting from Trad to Wfp over £1000 for trolley system?
« on: September 08, 2008, 05:56:29 pm »
Hi, I am seriously thinking of going WFP but, because i only have a small round at the mo (90 customers)thought I would price a trolley system up.
the system I priced up was the Filta Pura system consisting of:
Filta pura 5 mobile cart with hose reel +30 mtr microbore hosing and tap, holds 20ltr tank
12v shurflo pump and sealed battery
variable speed flow controller
Price £785.00
31ft hybrid pole with Vikan oval head
Price £299.00
All prices are + Vat
I would be using pure water supplied from the shop, at a small price
Didnt realise wfp cost this much, but I suppose you cant put a price on safety
What do you think guys
the supplier is TK Killis in chesterfield
Thanks

killis is very over-priced i have found for trad and wfp gear. I reckon you could set up with a backpack, ro unit, with a harris pole for under £500

Thanks guy for taking time out to reply, Kris, Killis mentioned that the used to stock freedom trolleys but they didnt reckon much to them (Doh, they would wouldnt they)
How much did you pay for the trolley, pole etc? If thats too much a personal question, a rough price will do.
Did you find the change over from trad to wfp an easy or hard one?

its 995 quid on ebay and thats with everything you need for cleaning and to produce water except for the tank....   if you went straight to the company i think you can buy the trolley and the pole on there own..

Thanks for the info matt, gonna look into that.
Brett I`m based in Chesterfield.
The bottom line is that for many years ive done gardening in summer (4000 sq ft churchyard to mow on me tod every 10 days) then roofing in winter
Was doing a guttering job for a new customer and she asks me if i would clean her windows while i was up the ladder
I told her that i hadnt done any window cleaning before exept on my own house but i agreed to have a go,Good she replied! because number 2, 4 8,16,27 want there windows cleaning aswell and we cant get a window cleaner!
anyway it turns out that the window cleaner had fallen out with on of the neighbours on the street over not cleaning some dreaded lead properly got fed up and never went back.
one year later.....after spending zero on advertising and through recommendations Ive got about 90 custies, some really nice people including a football player, the owner of ADR automotive, rich people who are just like us but made their money from hard graft.
But im knackered and if wfp makes my life easier and gives the same results, and if my custies like it,then ill go for it!
