hi, can anyone tell me whcih are the best 60ft poles out there bought one from brodex but had to send it back excellent price but too flexy and impossible to put up due to the clasps being too far up the pole. ionics seem to me to be the best but there also the most expensive anyone got a 60ft pole fromn any other company and if so how good are they.

hi in my opinion the best 60 footer has to be one of the "modular"poles from either gardiners or emporium.Cheaper than telescopic and much lighter,a joy to use.They are better suited to commercial work where the work is more repetitive .they are more fragile than tele but with use the advantages are obvious.I use the emporium because that was the only one i saw at windex but have gleaned since that  the gardiners is probably a little more robust.If you do decide to go with one of these you will need more advice on how to stop them sticking,as i found this a major problem at first !

I have the latest emporium pole used mine at 52ft fantastic i use mine all the time now and go home feeling good, no more arms wanting to drop off, yes i am carefull with mine as it is more fragile than my extel hybrid, use it right and it will serve you well, also got the bentley brush with 4 jets a good set up all round i am very pleased with this pole and feel it was money well spent, also it is a uk made pole so parts are over night, give Alan a call he will look after you, or you could go with the gardiners sl pole im sure this would be on par with the emporium, at the time gardiners were out of stock and i needed a 52ft urgent so i went for this pole and again well pleased.

unless youve been in a Window Cleaning blackout then you will have heard of Gardiners Super-lite 2...this is THE best pole for the job

If you are going to let anyone but yourself use it, get something sturdier. Brodex Cobra 57".

Been weight lifting (body building) for many years,using this pole is a pleasure 
like a warm up for the gym

My first poles weighed a ton! But nothing else was available then. I have tennis elbow in both arms. I use a Sl2 now and my tennis elbow is much improved. You can be as strong as an Ox but repetitive strain injuries still happen.

Super Lite 2 here as well, fantastic pole.

The SL2 is 10 times better with a thread glued in the end,you can work quicker and using the brush in a side to side motion is a whole lot easier.

Yep side to side movement reduces the RSI problem, but its better if you turn the brush vertically as it covers more glass, the lower back muscles take the strain a lot better than the shoulder up and down movement. You also want a lightness whatever pole you use. The brush weight is also crucial over 60ft.
