Cleaning benchmarks
« on: March 21, 2005, 01:25:59 pm »
Hi Folks

I am trying to help a client prepare a business case to purchase training.

Does anyone know of any general cost of cleaning per square metre benchmarks to check if you are cheap or expensive compared to the general industry?

Cheers
Andrew

There must be some sort of benchmark written down somewhere, but where it could be say, £0.60p per sq.ft in your town, in a small town 40 miles away it could be £0.30p per sq.ft, or in a city 10 miles away you could get away with £1.00 per sq.ft!! Do you see what i mean. In a lot of posts recently, a couple of us have said that when we began business, it was a "suck it 'n' see" response to how much to charge....after around 5 or 6 quotes, you begin to realise what you can charge.
How do you purchase training.....and what is that to do with the cost of cleaning per meter/foot?
