problems with RO New
« on: July 28, 2008, 06:59:06 pm »
I use 2 feeds to my RO, ok as I live next door to a relative so I use hoses from both properties 'Y' connectored to the booster pump and then to the various filters,

My problem is that one of the hoses became disconnected at the 'Y' connector and the other was left to feed the RO etc. The 'y' piece then was sucking air in as well as water for about an hour and i'm just wondering if the membrane is now knackered.

The TDS usually is 32 to 34 at 70 PSI and is now 50-52

at 80 PSI is usually 36-37 and is now 76

at 60 PSI is usually 31-32 and is now 48

Tap water TDS 185 ish

the membrane is 2yrs old
