Good ant they. I would if I knew how.

Lesson 1 a good camera and night school on how to use it.

Lesson 2 damp carpets never do justice so get the air mover in.

Dave

I must admit I was going to check the pH, because on that dining area you used a similar chem mix and I was thinking whilst UM may return UM to neutral it's not going to do it for PB.

I was told that returning carpets to neutral, even synths helps liven up the look of fibres and help prevent resoiling. If I had a TM I would well understand the idea that water alone can rinse out the high ph.

Tell me more.

Mike,
I know, I should do, after all the courses Ive attended over the years, that bringing the carpet back down to neutral is he aim. However, I also think this issue is somewhat overstated.
There are any CCs  like me who built their excellent repeat business up over many years using traditional extraction detergents, doing a really good job and never did any special Ph reducing rinses at all. Always delighted clients, coming back for more and never any rapid resoiling problems.
Theory can on occasions be far removed from the praticallity.
