what sort is it?

Dual pumps will be your best bet.

but its very rare to need a full pump whats actually wrong with it?

Dont buy another Flojet pump.  Buy a Shurflo.  They last longer and more reliable.  The cheapest place i found one for our TM was Woodbridge

John have you rung woodbridge and asked their advice?

Mine cut out a few weeks ago and wouldn't re-start, gave them a ring and they went through a process of illimination and it turned out to be a faulty low pressure water sensor in the header tank. Took out the fuse and it fired up straight away.

Worth a try before you change the pump.

All the best,
Jason.

Hi john,

i had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago and bought a new pump and then found the problem was the micro pressure switch on the pump head, it wasnt switching the pump on properly, i took it apart and it was a bit scaled up and dirty inside and its been as good as new ever since, worth a try ! theres a screw there aswell for adjusting the sensitivity of the switch.
