No.

You may wish that if you have just switched over to wfp.

Give it Time.I thought I would never enjoy wfp as much as trad, How wrong I was, I love wfp I earn more money, I am less tired as the week goes on which improves the quality of my life. My life is not put at risk as I dont spend much time up ladders anymore which makes our lass happier.

If your trad you have to sort your scrims out for the next day, I used dry scrims especially in winter which took ages drying on the raidiators.

I come home after work and it only takes me about 10 mins to fill my tank and put my batteries on charge,Less time then washing and drying scrims. I dont get many problems wfp, they only take a couple of mins to fix anyway.

I also get a Buzz about the equipment I have and own, A real sense of satisfaction that I never had with trad w/cleaning even though I did Trad for 26 years.

Its a no brainer for me. I am 15 years away from getting my state pension, if I went back to trad and worked out I much I could earn in those 15 years full time and then compared it to how long it would take me to earn the same amount wfp, I could retire in 9 years time.

So I can have 6 years off whilst not loseing any money.

Now if I was only 20 years old and did the same comparison I could retire when  I was 47 yrs old. I know thats based on my earnings  but my w/cleaning is set up as a buissness.

Its a No Brainer, but life is about choice and we are all different.

I have to agree with alot of the posts on this thread, some properties are quicker and easier done trad ,some quicker wfp.
At the mo ,having just been back at work 2 weeks after 2 months off due to injury, trad would be quicker for me, as I'm having to do all my wfp work as 1st cleans again because the frames are that dirty with not being done for 3 months. I tried not doing the frames on some that looked clean but ended up doing them again due to dirty run marks and spotting.I'm sorely tempted to just trad the lot with pure water for quickness , but doing that means I wasted my money buying the wfp kit in the 1st place. What would you all do in this situation?
Cheers Rich

What injury did you have and was it due to WC.

i am temporarily working trad for about 2 months, whilst i set up my new trailer system, i have found its not too bad with only 1 ladder section and a standoff. But when you need to use the double ladder its awkwardly heavy and wears you out quick! I have found its also about 15 minutes slower than wfp on most jobs.

When we switched over to WFP in the first 3/4 mths I did think, What have I done going over to WFP...

Being so use to Trad for over 10 years doing the same job in a different method was strange....

Never the less getting through the first 3/4 mths does make you wonder about WFP, But now 99.8% of our work is WFP...

And I do still love my job

i personally use mostly wfp (trolley) and find it quite satisfying, but always have my ladders on for the odd balcony etc. It took me about 8 months to get to this stage but I find my work more satisfying now.
