"Window Cleaning Resources are proud to announce the release of their latest DVD.
Advanced Window Cleaning Skills
Volume 1. Ladderless window cleaning using traditional methods. "
does anyone think that it's worth getting a dvd to show you hints and techneques if you have just started out

I got a couple of dvds when I started out, just to show me the basics. They helped me. But you will develop your own style over time.
Do all the good you can, and make as little fuss about it as possible.

I had that email sent to me.

I suppose it would be good for newbies but for window cleaners who are already using it i reckon you will be wasting your money.

Nothing beats hands on experiance

Sorry but I have seen them both and i thought they were pants.

the first one is introduced by some patronising idiot in a suit who is super annoying, and the 2nd one, the WFP one, was amateurish.

If you're a complete newbie, then of course all knowledge is good, but even so, I didnt agree with some of the stuff, it could get you off on the wrong foot maybe?  Fair play to them for trying something new though.

I have been window cleaning since I was 15 (I am now 40) I learnt a couple of new trad pole skills from the dvd  which have improved my poling accuracy. So worth the money for me.

I use wfp for most of the time, I did find the wfp dvd disappointing but this one I thought was very good. Trad and wfp skills go hand in hand for any window cleaner worth his salt, anything that improves your skill and knowledge has to be good in my humble opinion  ;)

I saw a couple of guys cleaning windows in Vienna once. Painful to watch.

I agree though, any tips that can save you time are worth picking up.
