which flow controllers are compatible with flo jet pumps
i seem to recall someone saying they had probs with ecoflow
anyone got direct experience of using vari/eco on flo jet pumps

also anyone using ibc as van mount
is it okay to plumb pump inlet onto drainoutlet on ibc
just wondered if the pressure from tank when full has any adverse effect on pump if connected this way
or does it help

 LJ, mine is straight onto the outlet - you can have a look if you want to see how I did it - even managed to stop it leaking after 2 years.

flojet pumps are the better of flojet / shurflo , i imo wouldnt bother with a flow control , if you was local to me i would take you to meet a few lads who have all gone onto flojet and dont use a controller ... im not certain but i think from previous post alex (who supplys ) dont bother with 1 , i could be wrong on this , but if im right and a supplier dont use the controller then what more can be said .

Dave have to add to that post that another supplier uses flow control and shurflo/flojet, everyone is different and to be honest it is confusing to me and I am guessing anyone that now reads this post will think the same.

my first flojet lasted less than two weeks diaphragm went and i did not use a flow controller just a pole tap to regulate flow.I know opinions on this vary but i prefer to use a flow controller and would like to know which ones are compatible with flojet duplex 2 100psi pump,I am not looking to turn this into a debate about whether you need a varistream (OR how ibc is unsafe as a van mount :)just want to know which one is best for this pump but thanks for input dave and ian

I won't go into the debate about whether you really need an electronic flow controller because it really does depend on your preference and your own set up.  Just a point that's been mentioned, the diaphragm going on the pump will not have been because of lack of electronic flow controller but because of either damage from new or perhaps bits of tank swarf getting into the pump and damaging it.

The latest Ecoflow does work with a 100 psi Flojet as does the Varistream. The choice is yours.  Just a note, if you have an older Ecoflow then it only works with the 60 psi Flojet due to an inability to handle the current draw of the larger pump.
