TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome!
Dean Taberner Window Cleaning is a professional window cleaning company providing a regular and reliable service to many satisfied customers in the local area. We value you as a new customer and we would like to take this opportunity to explain the way that we operate our business.

Service
Window cleaning is the main service that we offer, although we also can carry out cleaning of UPVC frames, conservatories and conservatory roofs. We also offer gutter clearing as an additional service. The price we agree with you is for the cleaning of the glass and the window sills. Cleaning of the frames can be arranged at an extra charge at a frequency that you require. Usually every three or four months is sufficient to keep them clean, although you can request to have them cleaned more frequently.

Regularity
We do our very best to come as often as we have agreed. To make that possible the windows will be cleaned at the interval required regardless of the weather. (please note the cancellation terms below) Please state the frequency you require on the new customer form and keep your copy for reference. The usual frequency is once a month, however we can arrange to come fortnightly, monthly, or every other month. A frequency of more than two months will be classed as a first clean and therefore the charge may be more than if it were more frequently.

Method of Payment
If you are at home when we call, then you can pay by cash or cheque immediately. If you are not at home at the time of the clean, then we will leave an invoice for you to forward a cheque. If the outstanding amount is more than £10.00 we would appreciate your sending payment within 14 days of receiving an invoice. If we need to write to you regarding a bad debt we reserve the right to charge a £10.00 administration fee.

Complaints and Cancellations
We are confident that you will find the standard of our work exceptional. Customer satisfaction is our priority. If you do feel that you need to complain please do so by contacting us as soon as possible. To avoid any embarrassment and wasted time please ensure that any marks in question are not on the inside of the glass!
To cancel your agreement you need to give one months notice. Customers who choose to turn away cleaners on scheduled date will be invoiced for the cleaning fees.

Thank you for choosing Dean Taberner Window Cleaning.

No.

Customers aren't going to want to laid down rules by the "poxy window cleaner".

Solicitors, architects, maybe... window cleaner bloke...no, I don't think so. ;D

I think thats quite fair a few things I would change like the £10 letter I charge less  ;)

Terms and conditions need to be in place for any business to grow to what it can be.

Squeaky why do you look down at window cleaners even though you are one ? do you resent the job ::)

Low self esteem is why...(IMO)

Those T and C are fine with a bit of tweaking to suit each individual w/c.

It's a game of three halves!

Can't say I'm exactly proud to tell people what I do, but I quite enjoy it.

I was just being realistic.
It's not rocket science, we just clean windows.

You start ordering people about, they'll tell you to get stuffed.
We're hardly essential and irreplaceable. ::)

Malc.
You're funny. ;D

I dont just clean windows I run a window cleaning company I have to pay wages, holidays, insurance etc I have terms and conditions, if people do not like them they dont have to use us there are plenty of window cleaners that dont give a hoot.

I will stick with the t&c's I do not like getting messed about with money or people this way we all know where we stand from day one ;)

IMO this is not a bad thing ;)

I think it is a good idea to state your terms and conditions when you start . It cuts out all the guesswork  ;D .  Squeeks I think you must try and get your head around being up to date with the window cleaning industry today ! This is a good money earner if you treat it as a profession !  You need to get some enthusiasm back for this job mate , ( not a dig )  but sometimes you come across as not liking this job ?  ;D

Sorry to say but if you dont like it dont do it!!

many people make a good living out of window cleaning, it may not be rocket science but that does not mean its bad,

so go out there and enjoy it.

but remember its what you make it.
