Lightweight sill brush
« on: May 29, 2008, 02:50:52 pm »
A couple of years ago I started a thread on "another forum" about the possibility of someone making a lightweight sill brush, same sort of idea as the Vikan so you can clean the vertical pane and frame as well as the horizontal sill effectively without having to alter the angle of the brush, or move to a position where you can twist the brush to sweep the sill.

Anybody come up with one yet?

The Vikan weighs a ton, makes using a pole very hard work.

There is one called the Hi-Lo, but I think it weighs about the same.

Surely it's not beyond possibility to make one to suit requirements?

Hi Ian,

I was speaking to Alex Gardiner and apparently they are going to develop one based upon the new brush there bringing out.............hope thats not a secret  :-X

Well if it is he didnt tell me to keep it quite!  ;D

But considering the new brush was sent back due to a problem with the bristles and nothing has been heard of it since I wouldnt hold your breath. Actually has anybody heard any updates on this brush cos I was holding off buying the S-LX until that was ready?
