ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT CHURCH CLEANING YOU HAVE TO GIVE LOW PRICES AS YOU WOULD KNOW OF CHARITY STATUS ECT I HAD THREE JUST ABOUT MADE A BIT OF PROFIT THATS WITH SOMEONE ELSE DOING THE JOB IT ALSO GOOD TO GIVE A LOW PRIICE AS MOST CHURCHES WORK TOGETHER AND HAVE HOUSING ASSOCIATION AND AFTER PARTY CLEANING AND THEIR CONGREGATION MIGHT WANT SOME CLEANING DONE I HOPE THIS HELPS BROOMKLEAN

Thank you Broomclean, what do you consider low price? I was going to charge £20 ph is it just the straight forward dusting etc?

"I'll only go in at £20 per hour."

For that I would want you to play the organ and take the collection.

Seriously.  We have a small church on our books that seats about 150 and takes about 45 mins to freshen up. Bear in mind that a typical congregation won;t be leaving empty big mac trays all over and trailing mud about, price it on a couple of hrs.

This church is 9000 sq ft I need to wrap this up tommorow so your suggestions would be appreciated £20 is not excessive I charge £12-£15  my domestic clients for cleaning please remember I am based in Central London 5 minutes from Park Lane, Mayfair! your suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Assuming your insurance covers you to work in these premises I would book the job as a 4 hour job.

Regarding low prices, the church is one of the richest organisations in the world, charity or not! By all means submit a low price if it makes you feel good, who knows you may get a few brownie points when it matters if you are a believer  ;D

The 4 hours suggested, assumes that the church is reasonably clean to begin with, that no special operations are required, that no glass is required and that no special items are included in the clean, also that there are no problems with access to power etc.

Broomcklean, makes a valid point regarding other work that could well come out of this, but, if you go in low, you will be expected to maintain this discount regardless, also party cleanups etc etc should be priced accordingly.

Rob

Since when has "the church" become a charity. The churchs regardless of denomination are some of the richest organisations in the country. A few of them are amongst the top 5 richest landowners in Britain.

Do not have to do no ceilings thank God they are well over 100 foot high, it is just dusting the pews, sweeping the floor keeping the kitchen and toilet are clean it is just over 9000 sq ft how much do you think I should charge per hour and they area not short of a bob or two believe me!
