A few years ago a local milk man was banned for drink driving, he got himself a horse and cart.
It didn't take long for the horse to learn which houses he delivered to, and the horse would move to the next house on his own. The milkman actually got through his round quicker.
It would be great on a compact round having a cart mount, I bet the novelty factor would be good for business too. Dai

i dont think much of that thing, but im using a trailer and its great, towed with a 1.6 escort, so its not as expensive as a van to go, and i just unhitch at home when not working. I still want to get an old hotrod pickup or firengine and convert it for work.

My Grandad used to deliver bread with a horse and cart. He had to take someone elses horse one day and the guy used to like his drink. The horse stopped at every pub on the way round and wouldn't go again until my Grandad went in for a couple of minutes! At least that was his story...

Back on topic - I have used trailers, but I am not a great fan to be honest. I think this one looks very strange, and not a great conversion.
