Someone rang me at 9.30pm last night to ask if I could clean his upstairs windows only!! I explained that if I clean upstairs the water will run down and I will need to do downstairs, but he says he will do the downstairs once ive done upstairs. Wouldn't care but large 4 bed detached in really good area. - some people eh... Has anyone else had any funny requests?

Yep, I have a woman who wants ups only because: "My cleaner will do the downstairs."

She lives in a 5 bed house worth (even in todays buyers market) around £1m.

When you quote for "upstairs only" charge them the rate you would for the whole house, if ever they complain, say "OK then, I'll do the whole lot for the same price"

yes i have she only wanted the conservatory roof cleaned above where she works from home the rest was to be left apart from the one bit above where they have the tv

i charge 75 % of the whole house for upstairs only windows

afterall its more effort to climb the ladder ( i know im WFP now ) but hey, i made the investment for WFP ( ok it was only 2 mars bars and a curly wurly, but it still cost )
