e-van insurance was the cheapest for me, everything is done online, very easy to manage all your insurances.

I've heard Allied is very good to.

Hi there,

If you are using a WFP system then one thing to be wary of when looking for Van Insurance is that the policy actually covers you for the loss/damage to your system. ASK the question - if the broker seems unsure of what a WFP system is, then in all likelihood he wont have told the insurer and you may find that there is no cover in place for it.

We can offer you quotes that will cover both the van AND the system. I cannot promise that we will always be the cheapest, but we will certainly provide you with accurate advice and make sure that the quotes we provide match your needs.

If you want to chat it through, call the schemes team on 01942 403370

Cheers

Also check that you are still insured once you put a water tank in the van. Even though they know you are a wfp window cleaner putting a tank in the van is classed as a modification and so your insurance may be void.....

Hi,
Renewed van insuranse today, tried all the companies you recommended but could not get any cheaper than A-plan--£189 fully comp and legal cover.

I thought that was pretty good and includes wfp if you have one

The cheapet for me was quinn-direct, by a long way.
They also don't consider a water tank in the van as a modification.

I have been with A-Plan for 5 years, always try to get it cheaper elsewhere, but they always come up cheaper, well for me anyway.

Used to be with eVan for three years. Don't really like all this internet only stuff - could never get anyone on the phone (a chargeable line). This year gone with Gladiator - bit cheaper and at least there is always some helpful person to deal with on their freephone number. Must tell all insurance companies whoever you choose that a water tank is fitted.
