You have to feel for him - he's probably mentally challenged, his first day of power, the only one stupid enough to take on the job, beaten at home by the wife and long term goal is to be a trafic warden. I just go out and back in and fill up each can and suffer flactulance at the cash till each time !

The London fire brigade site states :
"It's against the law to store more than 20 litres of petrol in two 10 litre metal containers, or 10 litres in two 5 litre plastic containers. All containers must be designed for the purpose and they must be marked PETROLEUM and HIGHLY FLAMMABLE."
Also your van should have a diamond flamable liquids sticker on it.
I carry a metal jerry can and the engine tank full. That gets me around 12 hours run time, Iv'e usually had enough long before the fuel runs out!

NO! 1 full jerry can and 1 full tank will run for more than a day. So fill up every night on way home or in morning.

I never take the cans out from my van so i open them all up (6) before getting the pump and then start filling them in the van, I put the lids back on at the end and shut the van up.
Nobody could possibly see what i was doing/filling and unless they switched the pump off mid flow I dont see how they can stop me (not that I ever thought they might try to stop me!!)
