No way! Its the best business going.

You only have to go out and get a customer once and its regular money month after month for years.

What other business could say that?

clean the jobs 12 times and dont collect (get them to send it or pay online)
physical yes hard sometimes maybe, the most hard working trade no way.

Digging holes in roads for 8 hours is way harder than window cleaning ;)

How come installments? Each job is a finalised payment each time you do it. Don't collect will save you man hours. Hard......yes wc'ing is hard, physical work, but then so are most things in different ways ;D

My Uncle sometimes helps me out when he's quiet, then I help him out when he's busy. He's a gravedigger and does it by hand and shovel. Now that is hard work!

The mind boggles ::)  I'm almost afraid to ask what you use him for? ;D

I paid a plumber and his apprentice an arm, a leg, two of my teeth, a kidney and my left knee cap for the removal of an old heating system and the installation of a new combi and ten new radiators.  It took them both four days; not really full days either.

They did a top job though; no complaints; very professional, but I believe Corgi registered plumbers have to fork out about £2K a year just for their Corgi registration.

Plasterers in opinion, work the hardest for the lowest turnover.

I can get a few plasterers for £70 a day, plus materials.

What I meant , is that you have to do the job to a high standard several times a year , and still get paid each month !     You have to keep the customer happy 12 times a year !  Over a number of years keeping them happy takes a lot effort  ;D

The trouble with being a gravedigger is that you never build up a regular clientel

I am gravely concerned that our trade can be compared to a grave digger !      After the hole is dug you woudnt get complaints about not getting into the corners , and asking when you are round next  :P
