When I say 47 as in pic, I meant 47 x 3 high, just to clear that up.Also only access issues:

18 large windows, accessible from flat roof
A courtyard area, where I would just have to run hose through corridor, so no big prob there.

Thanks

Alex, do you mean £1 per pane of glass or per set of 3.

With this amount of windows, what about £0.75 per window large, med or small, makes it about £300 total.

As I mentioned before, they are very dirty(see pic), so will obviously take a lot longer 1st clean.

Thanks

i mean £1 a window the rectangular thing, the bottom ones maybe £0.75, it is a first clean, and they are dirty, i could see them needing two cleans to get them right,

and it looks like a play ground and low windows, that means small children with disgusting, sandy, greasy, poohey, hands all over them windows,

i used to clean windows like that in a school, daily, everyday they where caked,

i cant see, but i bet the tops are black, the bottoms are not so visible dirty i.e black dirt, but just hand prints etc etc over them,

think about spraying some TFR on them first, or first clean with soo gg3 just too loosen that dirt

How does £352.50 per 6 month clean sound, or £450 for a one off clean?

Thanks

The way i read this, there are over 300 windows, the best way to price is by day rate you require and how many days it will take. A standard rate in your area has got to be £200 per day per person, then times by people and days required.
ie; 2 people, 1 day = £400.   1 person, 1 day = £200
     2 people, 2days =£800.    1person, 2days = £400
This is just a guide, you may want more or less per day

Don't under price yourself because you will regret it, don't be scared of your own price if your not used to work this size, they will be dirty every time they are cleaned, so 1 price for every clean.

Hope you get it
Barry

i like the sound of your one off price 400-450 sounds good, and after that i wouldn't be too inclined to knock much off for 6 monthly considering the traffic it gets

if you go for £450 for first time then say £375 for 6monthly thereafter because for most of that with all them vents and sills etc it will be like a first clean each time

Thanks for the responses, alot to chew on. As most people say on this forum, the price has got to be right, or you'll regret it.

Thanks

Hi we do 40 schools all sizes, i guarantee you will price them up and then do them alot quicker after. Its all about getting your feet under the table. 2 men full day £300 in my opinion guarantee you will do it in less time than that so you can get other stuff done too in same day. That way you will be sure to keep the contract too, schools are targeted frequently by other companies so dont go to high otherwise you will lose it eventually.

We priced a job up at £250 half day for 2 men we just did it in 2 and a half hours. Time to spare and went on and did loads more.

This is our situation on all our schools now...great customers...would do all schools if i could!!!

P.s only ones to watch out for are private schools, believe it or not they screw you down on price and can be unbelievably fussy...BEWARE!!!

Hi, i am with you on that, i do about 30 schools and i would love to do nothing but schools.

I have never had a problem with payment or anything else, all the caretakers / site managers make tea which goes a long way in my book.

The schools look a bit daunting when you first start cleaning them but you soon make short work of them, just get stuck in.
