Fitted my upgrade kit today on my 100 gpd ro unit,has mad no difference at all my presure is still 40 psi and out put of water is the same ! i was hoping this would push the psi up a bit and lower waste water. May be i should put new filters in but i can't find the coconut filter.I have found the Active carbon and the inline carbon and the 5 micron filters but not coconut
I have checked and doulble check all the pipe work and it's the right way
So i was wondering what is the waste water tds reading and why rather than run it down the drain why can't it be rerun back through the ro unit again,would this kill the prefilters quickly ? Or would it just not work and if it did work would it out way cost of prefilters to waste water ?
