With the weather bad for weeks in the winter have any of you come up with a way of earning extra money on the side

I have often thought about selling reverse osmosis units to our customers and people in general for drinking water. When canvasing for w/c you could post a flyer for the r/o at the same time. The units are easy to install and  our experience with purified water might help.
Your thoughts on this subject would be welcome.

i think you might start losing your customers if you do that if they all have pure water they wont need you will they ,they can then just spray there own pure water on there own windows so i would go for some think else   just my thoughts              marc

My thoughts exactly, all you'd really need to do then is sell them the brush and youve hung yourself.

Think I'll stick with the pressure washing and facsia cleaning on rainy days.

Why would a person buy a RO, they can get a filter cheaper, side libe for your job when it is raining is going out there and get wet, I know many people dont and they only dont because they dont like getting wet we are all probramed this way, same as customers,

seems to be a misunderstanding the units i am talking are usually fitted under the kitchen sink and would not produce enough water for w/c. these are designed for drinking water. but I can see what you mean.

Just branch out and become a supplier of w/c kit etc.

most of you do gutter and sofit cleaning. another idea is gutter repairs lot easier than cleaning gutters and a nice little earner
