Hi all,Can anyone help I need to replace my battery that i use that fits in my omnitrolly i currently use a gel 12v 36ah one and i want to replace it with something that will last a bit longer i have looked at old post but it only seems to deal with batteries for Van systems basically does anyone use a battery that is bigger say 85ah plus(gel) that will still fit in the trolly and where can i get one plus the reason my batteries don't last as long as they should because i use a cheap charger and over cook them i think. i have seen posts about the halfords intellegent charger had a look but can only see halfords fully automatic battery charger is it the same thing. i would be very greatfull for any help or ideas.Paul
lidl have got a batt charger for 9.99 at the moment its worth getting, they are good
I have this charger too, and works great. I'd also like some battery advice. I want to make myself a trolley with 25 ltr barrell, nothing fancy just for the odd job, would this do ?http://www.cleaningspot.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000002.pl?SECTIONID=Spare_parts_for_the_backpack_and_trolley_systems.html&NOLOGIN=1the sureflow backpack pump at top of page and the spare backpack battery directly below it, will I be able to use my existing charger to recharge it? anyone know?ThanksSimon
I havent mate my main concern is it fitting in the front of the omnitrolly trolly the higher the ah of the battery the bigger the battery will be i was just wondering if someone had already done something like this a 35ah battery fits fine just wondered how big i can go before it will not fit..... hope that makes sence. I suppose i could just ring omnipole up and they would tell me just wondered if someone may have the answer alreadyCheers Paul
Ye thats what i'm going to do thanks for all the responces just 1 more question i believe sealed gel type batteries are the way to go is there any particular make of battery i should go for or are they all basically the same i dont mind spending that bit extra if i'm getting quality. Thanks again to all who have helped on this topic,Paul
