Ninja Question
« on: March 19, 2008, 09:44:16 pm »
Didn't know what else to name this thread  ???

On my old 100psi Pro Plus I had to turn the machine off to change tools, on my 135psi Ninja I can change them easily without turning the machine off, does that suggest the Pro Plus was more powerful?

Would have thought it had more to do with the design of the couplings Gary. Just a guess though.

OK Cheers,

Just had a search but nothing came up, Mike Halliday posted a company about 6 months ago that do an idiot proof fit your own pump package. I am sure he said it was 200psi and would go into a Ninja. Looks like there is plenty of room for a slightly bigger pump.

As I get more work in I want more power, been busy this week and I'm knackered.

Went from 135 psi Diamonback to 450 psi Speedster ............ way quicker on jobs and carpets are drying in half the time, with more efficient layout of 2 x 3 stage vacs  :o
Similar look and shape but Speedster is 'boy racer' version  ;D

Gary

Another thing. Is the the hand tool you have trouble with after using wand? If so try pushing connection on female to release water and you might find this solves the problem. You may have to do it again because when you try to connect to the solution hose it immediatley fills the female connector with water (especially at higher psi) this then push the pointy bit out (very techy I know) making it difficult to attach.
