hello alex,

i need a new pole and was wondering what you recommend for my budget. i have around £700.00 and need to reach 60/65ft also need to change brush widths quite regularly for larger windows on commercial properties, speed is of the essence because as you know time is money and need to set up and down quite quickly.

i await your reply excitedly!!!

p.s postage would be to kent so an all inclusive price would be good (along with any extras you might like to throw in!)

The only pole I would ever use to reach 60ft is a Super-Lite2.  However, if you have to have a telescopic and don't mind reaching up for high clamps, then the 60ft X-Tel Carbon Fibre is in my opinion the best on the market (certainly the easiest to use out of all the telescopics).

If you want to change brush heads regularly then my recommendation would be an aluminium G-Fit.  The G-Fit system allows you to switch between the aluminium goosenecks (standard, deep reach and now a short version) and the basic plastic adjustable neck.  They allow you to switch brush heads, all it takes is a few moments to unscrew and screw back on.

Alex

I admire the way that as a supplier you come onto the site and offer advice in your own time and without reward. You are a credit to the forum and a fine example of how to show your business in a good light. I see that you have built a good reputation and I hope that this transfers itself into positive sales.

You deserve it - well done

Rob ;D

You win the "Brown-nose of the month award!" ;D

Actually, I like Alex's attitude too - but it will certainly bring a reward that is more than intrinsic, in that forum members will buy off him!
It's a game of three halves!

On the screen as shown below there is an option to select the size of Super-Lite package required with the appropriate price next to it.

In your case, the price would be £600 (for the pole), £34.50 for the G-Fit gooseneck + £14.95 carriage cost + the dreaded VAT bringing the total to a budget busting (!)  £763.10.

There is currently no waiting list as we have them in stock.  However at the rate they are selling I anticipate a short waiting list by the end of April.

PS.  Thanks Guys for the positive feedback.  Obviously my presence on the forum does help with the supply business but hopefully some of my posts are useful over and above selling a bit of gear.  Knowledge is more valuable than equipment and that's what this forum is all about.

LOL

When I put my next order in I may get a reduction for being a brown nose ;D  but I have to say of the suppliers there are probably only Alex (& Glyn - not anymore) - who offer advice.

I appreciate that it has benefits and keeps Alex in the picture when people want to order stuff but he doesn't have to do it and it certainly is not the norm

Long may it continue

Rob ;D

I think their level of service speaks for itself, and Alex does a top job of support, he certainly doesn't use the forum for sales.  :)

What he recommends is often the best you can get, wether they sell it or not. It just happen to be that the best for that height is an SL2 (or the X-tel, like he recommended) And it just happens to be aswell, that they sell almost everything you need.  :P

im sure other retailers would disagree the "t just happen to be that the best for that height is an SL2 (or the X-tel, like he recommended)"

im not having a go at alex at all, its just some lose sight of the fact that he does sell his gear here ( this thread has 3 links to his gear on it )

Aztec, this is a public forum and matt has a right to post in this topic just like you do so telling him "to keep his nose out" is, to be quite honest, a bit ridiculous.

If you want to have a private conversation with Alex and for everyone else to keep their nose out then you should phone or email him, not use this forum.  Simple.

Will you next turn into one of those extremely annoying people who starts topics like "alex has my parcel been sent yet?", "alex this stuff has arrived, thanks", "alex, i am unwrapping my parcel", "alex i am going to the toilet", "alex i am getting into bed"

Also matt has made a good point, and if you dont want people's opinions to interfere with your convo with alex then CLICK HERE
