Jason, that was brave. I spent 13K with YP last year, I would have been better of buting 13,000 lottery tickets! This year they can take a running jump. But lets not go all YP again.

Justin, Just spend a few hundred next year with them you will prob end up getting the same amount of work.

Glad to see that I am not alone, lucky if I am getting 2 jobs a day at the moment, feb has been very poor :-[.

Fortuante for me that the dom & comm cleaning side of the business is ticking over ok.

Things have started to move a bit today, fingers crossed.

Paul,
yes I get a fair bit of work from site, but to be honest as we all know not one kind of advertising is that strong on its own. Most of mine is repeat & referrals.

Cheers

'Not too bad so far', is my reply.

I'd like to put it all down to my Charm  :o and Great Personality  8) ;D, but I'm sure there are other reasons too  ;)

Mind you, we have taken the Tesco approach, (without the profits unfortunately) and carry out many aspects of cleaning. the carpets and upholstery account for about 60% of what we do.

I have noticed that I'm doing alot of moving in or out cleans at present. In January we had a bout of Vommiting and Diarrohea doing the rounds locally, Crap if you've got it, but good for business when they throw up on the carpet before they reach the bathroom, (had 4 of those lovely jobs to do) .
