It will be plastic Colin, that much you can be sure of so I'm sure it will be fine to hwe but depending on construction you might find that rotary will clean just as well (and of course a lot quicker)

Flotex is made from glass and you can HWE until the cows come home just tell them it may have faded first because these areas will show when you have cleaned it.

These carpets are usually vrtually indistructable I would pre spray hot and rotary and then HWE.

Shaun

Can you remember that green event at Earls court we talked about. What it was called and when it was?

Hi Guys

I'd be very suprised if Flotex was made of glass although it does have a glass fibre base which i was involved in the development of in the late 70's, when the Flotex UK plant opened.

It has nylon fibres stuck into PVC coated onto the glass tissue.

As for recycled glass this is again probably referring to the base rather than the fibre which would be too brittle,

Cheers

Doug
