Hi there

I do some domestic cleaning from time to time but have found problem with recent clients carpet.  her cat has urinated twice in corner by her front door on the carpet, not large ammounts but i think she has made worse by cleaning her self.

Before I was called in she told me she has tried cleaning with, detergent, biological washing powder, febreeze.  Now the carpet is just wet in the corner and smelling distinctly of pee.

Now im a domestic cleaner so dont have the money to go getting carpet machines to extract them out but was wondering if you could recommend any thing i can use in the home to make up myself to get rid of the smell and neutralise it.

Or is there a cheap product out there to get rid of the smell.

Some ppl have recommended white vinegar?

Realistically you need to get the urine out, fabreeze etc are only going to hide the smell until they wear off.

Urine odour removal is definately professional carpet cleaners territory with advanced disinfectants and methods it's not the easiest job to do, looking at your profile area this guy could help

Most urine neautralisers work, you just need to apply loads of chemical to over whelm the urine bacteria, which means flooding it or numerious applications.
