Back again to the poster we are havign done.

I need a decent before and after photo for it.

The company producing the advert say it really needs to be done professionally.

Someone mentioned websites with good royalty free stock photos on the other day but I cant really find a suitable one.

Does anyone know of a website or publication where I can find one.

(Have thought about doing one myself but he seems to think this won't really work)

I would have thought before and after photos would have to be of YOUR work to show any credability.

Thats what I thought Joe but he said "people spend hours and hours and hundreds of pounsd setting up photos for adverts, publications etc so you really are best off finding one on the net or in a trade journal".

If I cant find one then I will have to wait for the right opportunity to take one of ours but when a picture is going to be quite large I suppose the quality of the shot does make a bit of difference.

Slightly less professional looking photos will give people confidence that they are your own work ......... all of mine were taken on my mobile which has 2 megapixel camera ................. do not portray others work as your own if you want to instill confidence 

Often snap before and afters wherever i am working .......... if i put them all on my site then i would not have room for anything else.

Makes customer confident in YOUR ability if the pictures are of you working or your results ............... try to get before with you in picture and then show results 
I am ugly bald middle aged bloke so i try to stay out the photos so i DO still get work  :
