imo strauss work trousers are the best bar none i have had two pairs of their classic trousers which are now into their 3rd year they still look black (as opposed to faded grey) and show very little wear at all really just got a hole in the phone pocket on one pair dont know bout any of the other gear but the trousers are great good fit (comfy i mean ) and lots of choice in size worth the extra cost cos they wear so well

I find i get plastered in mud this time of the year from my hose, i also have a habit of picking up the hose with the back of my leg which doesn't help.

lol i do that... but now i just wind it in with a damp cloth in my hand nice n clean for next call

jeans and trainers for me, if i was to pay a load on a so called uniform i think i would be wasting my money, half way through the day in winter i end up looking like a tramp coverd in mud  no matter what i ware, muddy gardens, hose coverd in mud, pole hose dragging in mud,and now and again effing dog and cat poop.
cant wait for the summer, shorts t-shirt and no bloody mud
about £22 for a polo top IMO is not expensive and makes you look more professional in the way you are running your business.

£22?...for work????....are you having a giraffe?
NO not at all you think that is expensive then  :-\

No not at all expensive...I've got loads of polo shirts at that price and above.
But I wouldn't wear them for work (unless they were knackered anyway).

what a great idea. I've been thinking about how to avoid that for ages and have only come up with gloves. But they get wet eventually. Nice 1 gazza. It's been a pain rolling a ciggy with muddy hands.

I wear a Tri-corner hat, a Parrot, a long coat with epaulettes, embroidered button holes and big cuffs.

My leather breeches keep out the water and my wooden leg is painted black to match my other boot.

In my belt I carry a brace of pistols and in the summer I wear an eye patch.

My make-up is to die for and my hair is dyed black.

I carry a couple of old towels cut in half for mopping up etc which I use to run my hose through - saves scuffed hands.
