Some leathers I recommend a light clean and protect once a month, others a good clean and protect 1-2 times per year. There are so many finishes on the market at present that it is not wise to generalize. Experience and knowledge is the best guide.
Bottom line– to treat furniture with a good quality Leather Protector will probably cost £2-£3 more per average suite than a ‘conditioner’ or ‘food’ product but the benefits far out way this cost and the effects can be demonstrated for your customer to see.

Unless you are selling something else, it's the same as above isn't it?

Let's not get confused with 'my products are better than yours' albeit Paul isn't selling anything apart from expertise just like you are but to be 'top dog' your confusing the reader who only wants to be educated properly.

Strange Judy when you make a statment against mine its very quick, yet when I ask you to defend it your response is very slow. Is that because you need to look it up on the net or because you have to phone Andy?

We have 2 protectors now the standard one and Ultra protect.  Ultra protect has been tested to last for up to 2 years.  The standard protector would need to be applied 1-2 times a year as stated.  We tend to recommend the Ultra Protect on aniline leathers and pale colour pigments as it is more effective against dye transfer.

The Ultra Protect was brought on the market last year and so the details form 2006 are correct at that time.

If produced in 2007, you should have your two yearly result next year then. ;)

What other protectors are there?

Sounds good a 2 year protector is that the one you use in the warranty programme?

How much is it and what is its coverage?

We don't want cloak and dagger statements just good honest discussion, let's not forget that the audience is bigger than the posters that's what I meant about educating.

Looking forward to your answers and about your products.
