New Technology Wands
« on: January 18, 2008, 06:34:18 pm »
I came across an article about plastic wands last week, but don't have the details, right now. Not the first time plastic has been used, but this sounded like new technology.

Could be interesting.

We are starting to get wise about our machines meaning that we need to look at the tooling before upgrading the machine, (blowing my own trumpet) the 1st post I did on C'talk was asking if anyone had any knowledge about CFR wands as I wanted one to see if I could get carpets drier quicker using it and my Bane :o

We've had one in our shop for months, what would you like to know about it?

Well Jeff, I reckon it's going to be too expensive to import into the U K, but it's an interesting and new tool and ould maybe induce some new design exercises within the industry.

That it would.

The new Mytee Bentley wand would be an example, sent three of them out for evaluation last week.

IMO one of the best things you could spend your hard earned on his good tooling, we fo it with upholstery tool may be because they are cheaper but surely money spent on wands is the same albeit more expensive for a larger tool.
