i bought mine as an ex demo with 900 miles on it and it cost £8000 + vat (9400) but would be very surprised if you got one like that, i've been looking for another and can't find a deal like that, not yet anyway.

really good solid vans tho, this is the van you should get

Hi
Every now and again (usually the following month after the Registration letter has changed) Ford will give the dealers an incentive to get rid of any overstocked pre-registered Transits that have delivery mileage only but are 6 months old due to the registration change. That's when you may be able to negotiate a better price.
Keep an eye on the main commercial dealers.

yeah, the t30 tdi.

very well built, comfy, but seriously expensive to buy.  Its not bad on fuel the screen showing 34.2mpg overall but I do 'shoe' it a little.

Well worth a look at but don't buy new, the depreciation for the first year is horrendous (4k or something)

vauxhall combo

pug partner

citroen berlingo

i think you can get payloads upto 800kg with these vans.

give me your views and once again thanks a lot.

I've got a Pug Partner,... for now anyway,.. WAY TOO SMALL!!!! By the time you've got a 400 litre tank, poles, reel, pump box, backpack, trad gear for insides,.... it gets cramped very quickly!

I'd go for Scudo/Expert/Transporter size minimum,.. personally I'm looking at Transit/Ducato/Master swb options.
