SOMEONE TRIED IT!!!
« on: January 07, 2008, 08:32:04 am »
Some idiots broke into my garage/yard the other night! It was planned and calculated, they came with intent of stealing one thing and left hundreds of pounds worth of golf clubs, bikes and petrol garden equipment untouched.

Fortunatley they wernt very bright and didnt plan it that well. The idiots forgot to bring a grinder and fork lift! D

Since then I have kept on the hour night watch, ready for these chancers. Security has since been seriously beefed up.
The old bill are taking it quite seriously and requested my neigbours cctv of all veichles who entered the road/alley.

I strongly believe someone has done there homework, maybe even from here. Becarefull what you say it doesnt take much to look up email address or business names in directorys.

If it has to do with motorbikes they do do their homework. Hopefully it isn't any of us.

I had my motorbike stolen when i was 18. i sold my car, and bought one. it was only a 125 - aprillia 125rs. They must have done they're homework too.
I kept my bike in a garage, locked garage, then my dad would reverse the van right up to the garage doors. No way they could get in ....  so we thought.

They smashed the van window, pushed the van foreward, the hacked off the lock on the garage, and wheeled my bike away! The worst part is, it was two days after I bought it, and it wasnt insured yet as I hadnt done my CBT. So i didnt even take it for a ride! so i was left with a loan totalling £4000 for someone elswe to ride my bike!!!

007 or what

I do feel for you Guy's :'(

I was an security engineer for 15 years and in that time I seen so many people hurt, by these horrible cretins, not just because of there loss of valuables but the damage they caused, also just not knowing who it was that entered there property.

One day I may write a topic on securing our property its no help to you guy's right now but it may help you in the future.

Thieves in the amy use to have their arms held by a couple of squaddies whilst someone would slam a heavy fire door on their fingers. Didn't have much thieving in the army because everybody knew the consequences if they got caught stealing ;D

Trouble with civvie street is the punishment doesn't fit the crime, hence why there's so many criminals.

Is that why 3 squaddies beat up a mate of mine last year for no reason and put him in a coma?
