Don`t fall into the trap of pricing cheaper just because you`ll be doing the job a lot quicker,it is easy to do that. When WFP you can look at a job in a different way because all the hassles you had before with ladders now don`t exsist,of course you don`t tell the customer this and you price as you would have done before when working trad, this is the way your really going to see the difference in earnings by doing the same amount of work in nearly half the time.

Also running costs have been essentially doubled, Trad costs peanuts, so it's probably more like quadrupled. Take 15ml of cleaning solution to 250l of water. :)

Definitely not lower prices. If customers ask, just explain them that even tho it's faster it's also a lot more expensive (still not much but still!) to run, show them the back of your van, and most of them will think WOW, that's a lot of tech. They already say that now sometimes when I come round the corner with my ladderm8rix and extension pole lol.

You must be, I have 2 foreign holidays a year and this will be 3 a year once Im WFP. We all have our priorities. My number 1 is to be ablt to go away on holiday and have a comfortable life, Ive had my fair share of ups and downs, many self-inflicted  ;D  I have ambition/discipline and drive when it comes to work from which I get great satisfaction, however its pointless if I cant travel additionally to that.

For some work is their primary method of achieving pleasure in life and thats fine so far as Im concerned, however it does seem to be a lifestyle lacking in something, it wouldnt be enough for me to just have a great working life, I like to have more than just that; and travel is something I love to do as well as scuba dive and keep marine fish and corals.

You will also find that you can increase the price on alot of jobs due to being able to reach windows over conservatories, velux windows and recessed dormer windows and the like.

Wfp equipment costs more than trad to set up a window cleaning business but the earnings of wfp could be much greater if you get the right work and price it right, so i tend to keep my prices from £10 onwards.  Ive got some work thats priced under 10 but thats bungalows etc and i do them by hand anyway

Its suprises me how many trad guys there are still about charging rediculously low prices, i know of one trad guy who charges £4 for a house with conservatory and hes been going about 30 years, never hardly puts his prices up.

Wether your trad or wfp i would charge a decent amount and stick to it but sometimes the customers will only pay what they can afford
