Looking at some of the posts on here Colin is not on his own at charging better prices than most and why not? know Colin for quite a few years I know how picky he is when he is doing a job and I bet he's worth it.

If anyone is offering the best and I mean the best then you should be charging the high prices.

September and October for me .Best 2 months since i started . Phone was going mad.Best news for me though is inland rev giving me a 900 rebate as i had overpaid thats after they were hounding me for what i owed them.Been pretty quiet since then though 2 jobs booked so far next week.Last year i was starting off on a Monday with say 2 bookings and then by the end of the week i had bookings for everyday, just wish people would book a bit in advance  :)

THe last six months of the year have always been my better half. July and August usually fantastic with all the students moving out of their accommodation but this year the 3 months to end September saw a reduction of 24%.

Thought it may be the start of the credit crunch/recession in carpet cleaning but I then saw a new record breaking quarter ending December. Only worked till 20th December and going back next Tuesday. November was the best month of all.

bennie, most replies about my earnings are meant in jest, because personally i dont want eveyone to know everything about my business, but obvioulsy some people dont get the joke!
luckerly most people do and take most things said on this forum about such matters with a pinch of salt
so lighten up!

It is interesting that the last half of the year brings in the best results for turnover and probably the last quarter, though I have not analysed your comments that closely.
