I would say go for something like this.  Well worth the extra dosh.

It would be plenty in a van or static set up.  You could stick a booster pump on it at a later date if you wanted to up production even more.

You could get away with something like this if you had really good pressure but you would be cutting it fine and the thing would need to be on 24/7.

You'll also need a DI bottle with the bigger unit.

Sorry i didnt reply before i fell ill and just got back,am i right in thinking the bigger system makes 900 / 2000 gallons a day and all need is 500litres so that system would produce that amount quickly and would be turned off, or is it to big for what i need, i have seen the 40/40 ro unit but there was no price or are they the same sort of size unit.I dont mind getting the bigger size unit if it works more efficiently and is cost effect in the long run.  Darren
