We are getting plenty of flow at the moment. We are using 100 amp pumps from Ionic.

I am filling from a static right now but would like the guys to have the option of topping up quickly when out and about.

What is your tap tds & how many Ltrs a day do you normaly use?

If your flow is ok now then 2 vessels wont change it.

What you could do is have two DI vessels in the van anyway. This would allow you to use your RO water when it's convenient & tap water when not. although your tank water wouldn't be 000ppm, with a combination of RO & 50ppm tap water, the resin in the vessels wouldn't have much to do anyway. Being in scotland also, you should pretty much be able to top up anywhere with soft water. having said all that, 1600ltrs a day is a lot of water.
