leaflet marketing
« on: December 26, 2007, 03:37:56 pm »
Hi all and a merry xmas.

Ive just jumped over from the window cleaning section .

I'm looking at expanding my business, and poss offering carpet cleaning. My w/c has been built up entirely on leaflets, and if i did branch into c/cleaning, would like to market it the same way.

All leaflet responses differ, i know that but on average i get a 0.5 response with the windows.
Those of you who rely on leaflets, how many, monthly do you have put out, to make sure your diary is as good as full?

Also, is employing in c/cleaning regarded a nightmare as it is in w/c?

Thanks peeps.

Mick

Mick the best investment you can make is going on a marketing course(usually one day and it counts against your tax  anyway)Dont just grab a piece of kit and get going plan from the start to make it work for you long term otherwise you will almost certainly struggle.Alan(Swindon)

Mick,

There are those who claim to get a response of 5 in a thousand  from leaflets I wish  I did.

But like window cleaning leaflets have built many Carpet Cleaning Companies acording to the posts on these boards.

Other say Web Sites are the way to go.

I believe the importantant thing is the average cost of finding a customer compared to what you charge them.

If you find a method that produces a constant steam of customers at a cost you are happy with use it.

A lot of methods produce a trickle
