Hire Machines
« on: November 28, 2007, 03:31:00 pm »
My porty has had to go in for repairs and I won't be seeing it again untill the weekend or possibly after.  >:(
Got 3 more jobs booked in for this week and a full week next week and I have no back up (stupid I know).

Probably a long shot but just wanted to know if any one local 'ish to me (East Sussex) has a decent machine I can rent from them for a week???

Otherwise I will be forced to go with a hire company one such as this
www.hss.com/g/58312/Carpet-Cleaner-Large.html

Anyone had any experience with one or anything similar before?

Would obviously prefer the professional model one that they do but its not available anywhere local to me.
Look forward to any replies that may come my way.
Regards
Paul

Had to hire one of these a couple of months ago when my water pump packed in half way through a job it was the largest my local hss had in the shop, so had no choice . Would not recommend it at all was a real pain to fill and empty and I certainly couldn't clean two average sized rooms between fills! Performance was no better than I expected from a machine this size, but it will certainly make you appreciate your own machine more when you get it back, hope you sort something out.

Thanks for the reply Rob even though it doesn't fill me with confidence.
Maybe I'd be better off going with a Rug Doctor from the local DIY store ???

phone this man, Ian Buckley 01626 357544 A+D supplies.
They are based in Devon but I know they often have machines going out all over the Uk and you`ll get a proper machine.
