PDA help
« on: November 18, 2007, 10:01:36 pm »
I'm all paid up with GEORGE now and its working nicely, I know that some of you guys on here use PDA's to put george on and to put customer info on too, I know that you can do this then when you get home you can hook it up to your pc and upload the days info to your main george program, which sounds like a f ing brilliant idea to me!

my questions are... can I use any type of PDA to do this and what is a stable and good model/make to go for, how much should I look at paying for it?
what else should I consider?

Thanks (and thanks for recomending george to me, its perfect!)

I use a Palm M130
cheap as chips (£10-£20 ish via ebay)
It gets hammered about all day so I would not buy anything better than that.

I also use a Palm M130, works perfect.
Cost about £25 plus p&P ;)

George won't work on a windows based PDA.
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

I got the Zire 31 off ebay for less than £30, it sells on there with sat nav installed as well but cant see it being too good as it would be so slowwwww, ideal just for george though ;D

is it easy to transfer to your pc when you had done a days work, or do you have to do this manually ?

Well that's it off my list then. ::)
I want a Windows PDA, as it's more user friendly, and the same as a PC, so I can put computer files on there if I want.

So what better accounts programs are there that actually work on most PDA's then?
