how i got paid off one of my crap payers.
« on: November 18, 2007, 08:21:41 pm »
I had customer who was a good payer the first 3 cleans and then it went wrong it got to two cleans and i found my self going to the house light on tv on but no one answering door, i was getting extremly frustrated then io caught him driving away from the cul de sac so i blocked him in.

I went over and said i would like to be paid and he said im just going to the bank to get your money mmmmmmm ::)
so i said her is my bus card with addresss on please post it has iv been round 3 times, ok he said.

then next clean comes and i know i shouldnt of cleaned it but i did :-\ any way went for the money and the same thng no ones home so this time i left a note saying         "you now owe 3 cleans please pay today or accept a late payment charge thanks"

well you have proberly guessed he comes with the money 1 hour later(not in) and leaves a letter cancelling(damn he beat me to it) so i think in my news letter i may introduce a late payment charge after a certain period???

does anyone do this?

yes, if they have not paid within 14 days after 2 cleans we add an admin charge of £5 then interest monthly thereafter

i think most would just tell you where to get off and you would lose the custom anyway so whats the point, however important window cleaning is to you it is not to most

yes, have charged lates fees for ages now, some dont like it, but they are only the ones that dont pay on time, this cuts that down to the bear min, so well worth doing Ronnie

I think for me I would rather have a cancellation than a bad customer any time.

i like the technique-   blocking him off so he cant drive away!
awesome - if it gets this bad for me then i would use some kind of law method to scare them so they have to pay-
