Is this worth £1,000?
« on: November 14, 2007, 01:48:24 pm »
We have begun selling this static or van mount RO/DI system in the US for the equivalent of £1,000.  What do you think?

5 Micron sediment prefilter
Charcoal block carbon prefilter
Pump
40" RO membrane
40" DI cartridge
On/Off switch
Stainless Steel needle valve for waste flushing/control
Inline TDS meter

System produces up to 4 litres per minute

I think so. Why do you ask? Haven't you flogged any yet? And you better get a price for postage to the uk, you might get a few enquiries.

Neil,

Thank you for your input.

What type of system do you currently use and why do you feel this system is not worth the cost?

There are many plus sides to it.... From what you have wrote.. But You can buy setups out there that do the same thing for less money.. They may not produce 4ltrs per minute but they do the job...

So you are able to source a pump, DI tank, RO membrane and housing, switches, TDS meters, sediment and carbon filters and the housings for less then 1,000?

Hi US,

That looks like a pretty good price.

If I was selling for a profit I would want at least that for that assembly. I like your 40" resin cartridge as well, nice touch that. Shame you don't live round the corner from us we would get you building all of our systems for us. :)

that is a bit of a silly question to be honest with you, if you can get it make it and sell for profit, then yes we could source this if needbe as you have proved it can be done  ;) some people are scared to order from over the pond, I had been doing it for years without to much hassle.
