Last week I ordered this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130126212792&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=003
It arrived over the weekend and I fitted the trigger which was what I wanted, I was left with a spray jet which I thought I would test out.
I fitted it to the middle of my brush head with some plastic ties.
Today I used it for the first time and wow what power I have.
The water comes out with so much power that you see the dirt fly off the glass. it also makes if faster to clean larger panes of glass.
Have you got a pic or diagram of the brush head conversion William?
I bought 2 of these triggers, so have 2 spare jets myself, and will try your method if it is something that will work all the time, or was this just an experiment you have done?

What I did was cut the black tube in half and fixed the trigger at the base of my pole with some plastic ties.
This left the jet with a little bit of tube, this I placed on the top of the brush head in the middle and attached using a couple of plastic ties, to hold in place.
I then joined the black tube to my pole hose with a male to male connetor, the black tube and my pole hose seem to be the same size.
You then just turn the pump on and the water comes out at a vastly increased pressure, with my other jets the fan spray was about 10'' with this jet its something like 30''.
When the water hits the glass, it blasts quite a lot of the debris of the glass, you just scrub with the brush head, to break the dirt down further and with the power of the water now coming from the jet shifts the dirt off faster and easiler.
You do get a mist effect as well from the jet which settles onto the glass, this I was worrried about incase of spotting, but I never had any on the windows that I did today and there was 175 of them.
I think as long as the water is pure and no dirt run downs from the brickwork you should be ok.
