« on: October 05, 2007, 01:01:11 pm »
I had a scouser phone me yesterday named steve. Apparently I had agreed to help his company SC publications or SP publications (something similar anyway) with printing books that would benefit needy kids  :'(   when i pointed out I hadnt and furthermore wouldnt , he told me to lock my door and threatened me and slammed the phone down  >:(  I have been furious since yesterday ,I would never be spoken to like that to my face. Has anyone heard of these? The phone number was witheld and I cant find any record of them. If hes so brave why the witheld number???!! I have had a few of these calls over the past few years and its beginning to wind me up!

Hi

If you phone you telephone provider, you can pay a small amount to block all withheld numbers.

But then you risk losing a lot of customers. Most of mine seem ex directory.
I usually have a bit of fun and ask which carpets they want cleaning, I then ask if they would be annoyed with constant interruptions when they are working. If that does not work I tell them to get lost in the traditional Anglo Saxon way.
