Hi.

I am never fully happy with my removal of urine stains from carpets. I usually pre spray, and if need be use a small flood removal tool attached to the hose from the truck mount. I apply a Urine neutralizer as well, but quite often the actual yellow staining is still there.

I have a few urine stains to do tomorrow, so my question is:- is there something else that I can do to try and remove the yellow staining from the carpet after the cleaning, or does the urine dye the fibers of the carpet over time, and so become impossible to remove?

Urine neutrelizer is to be applied after cleaning and should remove the odour not the stain, it does take time to work and may need re-applying.
The stain will be permanant most of the time as the urine acts as a bleech and will damage the carpet fibres.
I have had joy on a couple of occassions by spraying a solution of fabric & fibre rinse 100ml to a ltr of hot water leave for 10 mins then extract with water.

I have had some success in lightening on biege carpets with Hydo Peroxide and Amonia
