why not use the heater in the van make a fitting to go over the outlet on the passenger side and run the nice hot air through some trunking into the rear of the van   any thoughts on this ?

Because you wouldnt start your van in the morning

the hose would go over the outlet of the heater in the footwell  and not to the  unit the passenger vans have a system of getting warm air to the rear passengers, vito, primastar ectwhy not us ?

Ive just bought a 300w inverter with a low battery protector. so im going to connect a small portable blow heater to it which in the extreme frost will come on at 15 intervals every 3 hours on a timer switch. great thing about my van is i also cig lighter plug in the back of the van so when im not heating i will be charging the battery for me wfp when driving. Will post pics once all set up.

if u leave that on all night your van battery will be flat in the morning. like leaving your lights on

Just get a parrafin green house heater leave it on all night
Cost about £25 And parrafin will last all week.

Got a small parrifin heater I can flog you cheap. We use electric heaters now.
