I have been a member for 20 odd years. It is about £70PA SUBS.
It is a non politically aligned organisation that fights for the very small business. We have won quite a few concessions for the independents and is pretty antiEU, fighting a lot of the nonsense coming out of Europe.
It also has some pretty effective insurance for tax investigatoins etc. Also a legal and tax helpline that I have used a fair bit. Discount schemes are available.
I rate the value for money pretty high but like anything else you get out what you put in. We have local monthly meetings with a speaker and opertunities to get at local businesses for work.

I've got a rep coming to see me on Friday to discuss membership, I think I'll be joining,

the membership seems very reasonable

Had a call from Local Business Federation person today. Looked on website and will be very interested in what they have to say.
Nice to know that fellow cleanituppers have benefitted from ongoing membership of such organisations.
