ian, i made in in plenty of time, to renew it, i will put it in my dairy so i dont miss it again, i dont understand what you mean by the refreshing the website,
If your site has gone down because of a payment issue they then point your domain names else where, if it was your site that was the issue then the host would just rename/change the details, the only way for either of these to work again is to refresh the server (like you would do if you refreshed a web page you was looking at) and that reason is so you can see the fresh content (to you would be your website again) many big companies refresh the server in the early hours so not to upset there customers. I do this as and when I want as I am not hosting 100000's of sites only around 30.

ah, ok ian i understand now, my sons working out of town and is not due back until friday, so without him i am lost lol,
