and bought a 21 ft  ex tel  super duper light weight...

cant beleive i have been cleaning for a year with my 40 ft ionics...

i feel like im super human with this new pole...

p.s because its so light am i safe to say i have to be careful closing upstairs windows with it... in case it snaps.

or am i being a little over concerned.

I close third storey sash windows with mine, I just make sure that I'm careful. I always try to push straight with the pole, exerting force upwards on the pole not sideways.

A trick I use on side opening windows is to 'catch' the open bottom corner of the window frame on the middle of the brush face (in the middle of the bristles)and then push the pole upwards to push the window shut, it is much better than just pushing it shut with a sideways movement.

I got the 18ft x-tel and am well impressed but tried out a mates 24ft x-tel (he's had it 4 days and looking to chop it down) and its useless extended due to the massive amount of bend in it:o looks like your 21ft would be the limit with these pole then.

used it all day tops and bottoms....21 ft down to 5ft and a bit 

brilliant, very light... its a dream ..

cant believe i have used that bloody heavy 40 footer all that time...

i feel like im floating now... and it has speeded my work up by nearly half as i dont have to mess about with heavy pole in tube rack on the van,,as it fits inside.... !

I`ve got the 18ft one but i`ve yet to use it,i`ve extended it and a light brush makes all the difference with that pole.A put a vikan mono on it and thought oops that`s bendy,put a bentley on it and thought that`s a good pole.

ah... i have a vikan on it ... where do you get a bentley from....

mind you i do like a bit of weight as it makes for less pressure from us lol. re. brushes.

In my opinion the bentley brush out performs the vikan in many ways,firstly it feels 10x lighter on the pole.A light brush will make any cheaper bendy pole feel more ridgid,far more.The Bentley brush is basically a thread with bristles you can get them from Essentially Pure or from Alex,£12.50 i think.Saying all that and singing it`s praises i must say it`s not my prefered brush on first cleans but for regular cleans it`s very good.

Tesccos had them for about £2.50 but seem to have stopped selling them now.You do have to fit them out,tubing y piece etc, but its not that much bother,if I can do it anyone can

Just grab the bunch where you want the jets to go with a pair of pliers and yank them out then drill through from the bristle side into the hole where the bristles went
