On  a first clean i get a paintbrush out and give it a good going over, then on maintainence clean it just needs a wipe over.

Is that all? if they have wooden frames then I offer to replace them FoC to UPVC just so it makes it easier for me in the future ;D

When I price up my main selling point is that I clean frames sills and doors as well as the glass everytime I clean, this allows me to charge more than other window cleaners in my area, the first clean takes a bit longer but after that its easy, and yes I also clean cat flaps, I just cant stand leaving them dirty when the rest of the door is so clean!!! ;)

Well mate thats the difference between a window cleaner who can charge higher prices and one who can't, it's called attention to detail!!!!!  ;)

attention to detail yes, also a good business brain helps, had a chat with another window cleaner last night moaning that the price he charges are to low and his canvasser says hes to expensive £8 for 40 mins work for 2 people I thought was a joke.(he would have a heart attack if he saw my prices) Then if you pay a canvesser 1 times the clean what do you expect hes working to make himself easy money.
