Referals
« on: September 04, 2007, 06:16:02 pm »
Whilst I was feeling a bit down about the amount of work I was generating in a new area I just got a call from a custy I did a flat for (last week) that she bought to rent out. She was there whilst I did job and was amazed at outcome (she had used several CC's before). She has put in contract that tenants must use me when they move out and Managing Agent want to get me on their books as a result.

Smug ain't the word.

If you take the same pro attitude into every job it will come back and reward you handsomly every now and then.

(hand scrubbed all edges after pre-treat and HWE'D with hand tool, bet not many do that)

most of my work is from referals .............not that i am the greatest cc..but i have a high standard of work for a modest fee...........

the black draught marks are always stubborn and more often than not .......will return after a period of time

i am also not happy with the results sometimes......but i pre warn the custy of the possiblity that they may remain after the clean

i think that as long as the custy is aware of that fact....... then there are no suprises ;D

think i will try that thanks fibre fresh..........do you aggitate prespray gold or will it spread the marks??

life is one big learning experience!!!!!!!

For those sort of DM's you need something with a kick. These DM's come from below as opposed to those that are caused by draughts under doors so you should try try Prochems traffic clean, hand scrub in, 10 minute dwell and HWE with a hand tool. BUT YOU MUST HWE away from the wall and you will make some inroads but as other threads say, they will come back.

No 78 :D :D

Pete tell the landlord that you will also do half price stain removal for all their clients so rather than wait for the end of the tenancy to have them cleaned  they might call you sooner.
